With one week to go until the big day I thought I would share my Hen do with you all.
Spa days are super relaxing as we know but they also make me pretty snoozey afterwards. The obvious choice for my Bridesmaids would have been to book a spa for my hen do. However knowing the kind of person I am they knew I would want to have a party too and wouldn’t want to be too zen from the day. So they organised the perfect surprise solution by bringing the spa to us!
They hired this beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds which had beds for 16-18, a large entertaining space AND an outdoor hot tub which over looked the rolling fields. It was such a special location specially when full with all my nearest and dearest.
After a fair few Proseccos on the Friday night the news that beauty therapists were coming to the house was welcomed news.
We were spoilt by two therapists from Eye Kandi Beauty Therapy from Oxfordshire. They were with us for over 4 hours taking it in turns for treatments.
Some of the Bride Tribe had fabulous manicures and pedicures, they had a ridiculously large range of colours to choose from.
The others had either a facial or massage (I was lucky enough to be treated to both). They set up a massage table in one of the bedrooms, played soothing music and dimmed the lights. It was so relaxing and very much appreciated after a night partying before.
Whilst everyone had their treatments one by one the rest of us sat in our comfies watching Bridesmaids and eating cake, it was perfect. We even had bowl full of face masks, foot masks and other nail varnishes everyone could have fun with. I have never used a foot mask before it was strange at first but the results were impressive. My feet were baby soft. One to do before the honeymoon I think!
All in all I had the most perfect hen do, I was one lucky / relaxed lady!
The cottage we stayed in was called Manor Byre but they have lots of others for all group sizes:
