Caudalie Paris Beauty Elixir – Trying my first face mist

I am new to using face mists at home. During a number of spa facials therapists have applied them but I never introduced one to my own routine so I thought it was worth a try.

There are a number on the market so I wasn’t short on choice. I had however seen Rosie Huntington Whiteley use Claudie Beauty Elixir on Instragram stories. She has incredible skin so part of me thought hey this one has to be worth a go.

I purchased the 30ml bottle for £12.00 at Naturisimo which had free delivery. I didn’t want to commit to the larger bottle so this was the perfect test size.

Here is the official description of the spray:

Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a part-toner, part-serum mist of essential oils and plant active ingredients. This elixir smoothes the skin, tightens the pores and provides an instant burst of radiance, as it stimulates microcirculation.

My first impressions we mainly around the scent. I adore the smell of this mist, it was the first feature that intrigued me. It is so refreshing and invigorating. The smell alone is an instant pick you up as it awakens your senses.

It is cooling to the skin when sprayed and gives you a dewy look. It was perfect on honeymoon in the Maldives to enhance my skins radiance and cool me down. I applied it after I used the Decleor Aroma Sun Expert (see my other blog about this incredible face after sun).

I also used this on the long haul flight to help refresh my skin after the planes air conditioning.Claudie 4

I am not sure I would use it every day in my routine as it hasn’t made the biggest impact to my skin long term and is fairly expensive but for summer months and holidays I think it will be a refreshing bonus for my skin.
